Specialist programs

Choir

We offer a strong program in the Arts, including two choirs.  The site has a junior and primary choir. Involvement in the choirs help develop students’ creativity, confidence, cultural knowledge and critical thinking.  

Many of our staff have participated in the Music in Education Strategy, and apply this evidence-based content to support engagement and regulation.

Sports

Students can develop team play and team building skills through our sports program. The program is run by a specialist teacher. Our program includes: 

• SAPSASA events 
• team sports (cricket, Aussie Rules, football, netball, volleyball, tennis and basketball) 
• sports day  
• swimming and aquatics lessons. 
• “Come try” sessions

Instrumental Music

Primary aged students are provided with the opportunity to learn an instrument. Students who participate in this are provided with an instrument and attend weekly lessons onsite. As part of the program, students perform at school and at external events.
